This little baby likes to move! I am sitting in my recliner and I just had breakfast and this little one is moving all over. I love the feeling. Now that I am over 21 weeks, I am starting to feel her a lot. Jacob was able to feel her last night and he had a smile on his face from ear to ear. So cute! Feeling her move around in there makes me all the more excited to meet her in October. This will be a long, hot summer! LOL

We got to see the baby again at yesterday’s doctors appointment. She weighs 14 ounces and her head is little bit less than 2 inches in diameter. She was moving around a lot and we were definitely able to confirm that she’s a girl! The tear in my placenta is completely healed and while it’s still low, it is moving up. Hopefully, before too long, it will move up more and won’t be low at all. Everything looked good otherwise and at this point, my pregnancy is pretty normal. The baby is moving a lot and that’s a great feeling. Now I know on a daily basis that she’s doing ok in there! I38 days until my due date!

My kids are out of school for the summer! Yeah! I am so glad. I have been waiting for the day that I don’t have to get them all up early, rush around getting them ready and then pushing them out the door, all before 7:30 a.m. Now I feel like we can just relax and enjoy the summer. Plus, I know how fast the summers always go by, and once this summer is over, this pregnancy will almost be over too. I’m about half way through and this has been the longest half of a pregnancy I have ever experienced in my life, due to all the complications.

I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to do with my kids this summer. Hopefully, when I go for my next ultrasound on Thursday, the dr. will tell me everything looks completely normal and I’ll be able to a few fun things with the kids this summer, like take them to the zoo or whatever.

I will post again Thursday after my ultrasound! They’ll probably confirm the baby’s gender then too!

After an ultrasound this past Tuesday, we found out I am having another little baby girl! That’s 3 girls and 1 boy we will have! Lots of pink girly stuff for us. Her name will be Ella Marie. In less than 2 weeks, I’ll be half way there!
