I’ve made a few new projects! Very cute! The first two are cards I made using cardstock paper, stamp sets, and ribbon. The pink and black one was very quick and easy. The brown, green and blue one was also easy, just a bit more time consuming. The little box was the fourth box I’ve made since I started with the paper crafts, but it was, by far, the easiest! I’m happy with the way these three little projects turned out. If you’d like step by step instructions, just let me know!!

These are some really cute cards I made this week at the Stampin’ Up club I go to each month. We did 2 Fall/Halloween themed cards and an adorable brown and blue friendship card.

This is probably one of my favorite pages that I’ve done for my son’s scrapbook. I took some photos of him playing his drums and had them printed in black and white. I did the layout in grays, black and white. I just don’t think the page would have the same “POP!” if I hadn’t had the pictures printed in black and white. This layout was pretty easy, too, with no tedious, time consuming techniques. I used various rubber stamps for the background, the title, and the embellishments.

This is the first of many Christmas cards I will be making this year. I know it’s early, but when your cards are handmade, you can’t start too soon! I did a little embossing on this card, which is one of my favorite techniques in stamping. I just like the shiny, raised effect it gives.

Here are a few more projects I’ve made over the last couple months. The first is the scrapbook page I made with my daughter’s kindergarten graduation photos. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out and I love the color scheme (courtesy of Stampin’ Up). The second project is just a simple card with awesome ebellishments. It looks involved, but it took just a few minutes to put it together. Again, I love the colors! The last project I’m posting today is my photo cube. If I had to give it a function, I’d say “paperweight.” It’s full of pictures of my kiddos and it wasn’t really hard to make. It’s so cool to see all the neat stuff you can do with paper, scissors and glue! More projects to come!

The first time I ever attempted to make cards using rubber stamping, this is what I ended up with. I was very pleased with my cards. The orange one is actually a little photo wallet. It opens and has 3 pockets for photographs. I made these back in March.
